Badger-- the High School of the 21st Century--offers a wide range of challenging subjects in grades 9 through 12.  Courses have been designed to build upon the basic concepts and skills learned in previous years and to stimulate new, more complex learning.

All of our students are going to be involved in life-long learning, regardless of whether they plan to attend a college or technical school or directly enter the work force.  If is no longer possible to predict what precise jobs will be available to people during their lifetimes.  It is becoming evident that even those jobs that exist today may be drastically reshaped by tomorrow's technology.  Therefore, it is important that all students have not only basic educational foundation requirements that will enable them to learn and perform in a changing world, but also skills in elective areas that will enable them to be productive in the work place, as global citizens, and in their personal lives.

Both educators and business leaders are recommending that high school students have a strong preparation in communication, math, science, and social studies.  All students are encouraged to earn more than these minimums.  Assistance in determining what courses to select can be obtained from a guidance counselor.
